Hello ! Nothing much to blog about really.

Friday. L4D2 Day as per normal.

Saturday was the Freshmen Orientation Reunion at Sentosa. Followed by dinner-cum-slacking time at Vivocity's Sky Park. Partied at DXO all night long with the DXO kids.

Sunday. Arrived back home at 10 in the morning. Washed my face and went straight to bed.

Today I had my critique session. Surprisingly, despite the face that I was so nervous that I felt like as though my balls were in my throat, my crit session went positively well. The lecturers said that my drawings were too random, my MATech detail drawings were better than my IDS ones, as my MATech detail drawings were more detailed in terms of joints and connections between modules and how it's connected to its site, my annotations were good and clear and they also commented, saying that my MODEL WAS BETTER THAN MY DRAWINGS, which is like a FIRST ! Woots ! Cuz I normally struggle when it comes to doing models, so having Elaine and Cindy tell me that really made me smile. Elaine also told me that I've come a long way and that although my current model isn't exactly the best, it's better comparing to my other models and that I should keep on trying hard, which I will so continue to do !

People were right. After slogging hard for a few weeks, where I stayed back in the studio till 11+ at night with the DID gang just to finish up my assignments, all the hard efforts paid off. Positive reviews, constructive feedback, better looking model. And it's all thanks to the Year 1s, Aliff, Ikin, Hanah, Rina, Jen, Az, Brandon, Lester and Trina. Seeing the Year 1s chionging their asses off for their assignments and producing really beautiful works with their excellent workmanship really inspired me to do the same. Seeing how hard Aliff, Ikin, Hanah, Rina, Jen, Az, Brandon and Trina are working to finish up their assignments, where most of them stayed back in the studio till late at night just to finish it up encouraged and motivated me to do the same. Thanks guys !
