You know what?? Today, I was working in FOH for the very FIRST time ever since I started working at Fish & Co Express. I did the runner and cashiering for a while.

Ok...So maybe I was wrong. The runner's job at FCX is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what I'm accustomed to at FNC Tm. Most of it is the same though with only some differences like:

1. FCX: The runner has to cancel orders on the receipts once they are already out, unlike FNC Tm, where this is the Kitchen Co-Ordinator's job.

2. FCX: The runner has to place the Tar2 Sauce on the tray on which the order is placed immediately BEFORE serving the order, unlike FNC Tm, where the sauce sets are given to the customers first.

3. FCX: The runner has to clear the tables IMMEDIATELY after the customers have left the outlet, unlike FNC Tm, where this is the Station Master's or the Greeter's job.

Cashiering was ok though. However, I did screw it up by causing a cash shortage of $3 but luckily, it was already accounted for cuz someone(I have NO idea who) paid for the shortage.

Overall, I think I did an OK job as a runner and as a cashier but I still have to improve on A LOT of areas, like No. 2, for instance, cuz I would ALWAYS FORGET to place the Tar2 Sauce on the pan before seving the order. Haha! Stupid thing to do actually! Housekeepingwise was good, except that I missed sweeping up A Chip(fries) and I missed a spot while I was sanitising the shelves below the cash register.

Hopefully, FCX would give me another chance to work at FOH again cuz firstly, I have experience working at FOH, as I've been working in FOH at FNC Tm for almost a year now and secondly, I definitely KNOW that I could do better than how I did today. I just need to adjust myself and get accustomed to the FOH system at FCX cuz it's a slightly different system from what I'm used to at FNC Tm.
